Workshop Reflection: Dialogue

      1. What advice did you receive from each member of your group?  Explain each person’s advice             separately and be specific.

Meredith told me to actually tell my guests to introduce themselves. This would make it less confusing. She also told me to make a concluding act instead of just ending it. She throughout some funny suggestions along with the rest of the group. Josh told me to include what they study. He also told me to include my last name to take out some confusion. I also need to spell out NCLB and he let me know to add arguments among the various guests to make it more exciting. Lynnsey let me know to take out some words to add clarity. She pointed out some spelling mistakes and make some changes to a few sentences.

      2. What was the most helpful piece of advice you received? Explain.

They all did a good job of helping. The best comments were the ones Meredith had because they were things I hadn't thought of.

      3. What was the least helpful piece of advice you received?  Explain.

I think all the comments about enhancing clarity. They were still helpful, but I think I could have caught them if I had read over it again.

      4. What are your plans for revision?  Be specific.  I should be able to understand exactly how your work will change in exactly which places.

I plan to go back and look at everyones marks that they put on their hard copies. I also will use everyones additions to make the paper better. Its always helpful when we have these conferences because I know exactly what to do after.
