Self-Asessment Reflection: Annotated Bibliography

1. What were your goals for yourself in writing this paper?  To what extent did you reach your goals?

I wrote the paper before I knew exactly what to do because of Megan's sick day I did not under stand the email so my paper looks a little different then everyone else's. Everything is a little more jumbled together.

2. How did you use your time in developing this paper?  Did you use class opportunities to improve your writing?  Explain.  How did your use of time fit your goals?

I wrote all of it on sunday night, since I thought it was due on monday. I would have used Wednsday's class to write the majority though.

3. How did you see your writing changing?  Did you take advantage of the responses from your peers?  Explain how you worked with your peers?

I will definitely use my peers responses to enhance my paper. I will use their insight to form the paper better and I will add a few things to it.

4. Who else contributed to your paper’s success?  Explain their role?

Tony gave me some recommendations on sources since he switched topics.

5. What have you learned about yourself as a writer? What did you learn from others?

I have learned to read my teachers emails more carefully so then I would have known that the paper was not due until Wednesday.

6. What was the hardest part of writing this paper?  Explain.  What was the easiest part? Explain.  Where did you take risks?  Explain.

I think the hardest part was filtering out the sources. Their were some sources that I thought I could use but then trashed. The easiest part was having done this same assignment in high school, which helped me understand it better.

7.What parts of your paper are you proudest of?  Why?

I am proud of my first source because I think it was the most relevant which made it easier to write about.

8. What parts of your paper still need improvement?  Why?  How did you attempt to make these improvements before you turned the paper in?

I need to reorganize and I need to add a part about why the paper is credible and where I will use my sources in my paper.

9. Explain your writing process from brainstorming to now.

My writing process had been based on the sources I find. I found it easier to go through one source at a time rather then finding them all at once.
